We’ve collected all the necessary information here for the ease of your experience, and ours. Please read these details carefully.

We’ve decided to frame this gathering as a Festival of Love to allow more space for our dear friends and family to come together. Connecting our communities and celebrating the love that exists within, between and around us all.

Our ceremony will begin at 2pm, located in the beautiful gardens at 298 Whitemans Valley Road, Upper Hutt.

After the ceremony, dinner and reception, we’ll then take a short drive down the road, to 528 Whitemans Valley Rd where we’ll have our second phase of the gathering.

Smart, formal and relaxed. Barefoot welcome.

Friday 20th February 2026 (Optional)

Hosted at 298 Whitemans Valley Road

  • 5:30pm: Shared potluck dinner.

Saturday 21st February 2026

Hosted at 298 Whitemans Valley Road

  • 12pm: The Arrival

  • 2pm: Ceremony 

  • 3pm: Photos, connection time, games

  • 5pm: Dinner/formal speeches

  • 7pm: Transition to 528 Whitemans Valley Road (shuttles available)

    7:30pm: Community gathering, informal speeches, first dance

    8:30pm - Late: Dance 

Sunday 22nd February 2026 (Optional)

Hosted at 298 Whitemans Valley Road

  • 9am: Optional Wellness & Community Connection

  • 11am: Shared Potluck Brunch

  • 1:30pm: Pack down

Location

We’re fortunate to host this gathering at our home, Mangaroa Farms.

All wedding activities will be held at 298 Whitemans Valley Road, other than the Saturday Evening gathering, which will be held at 528 Whitemans Valley Road.

  • Kids and babies welcome: Many of our close friends have little ones, so we welcome you to bring your crew. However, please be mindful of how their behaviour impacts the space. We’ll have child-friendly spaces and activities available.

  • Radical Responsibility: Please do your best to manage your own needs for travel, accommodation, etc. See below for more information to figure out your flow.

  • Contribute To The Day: We welcome all of our wonderful friends to make a contribution to our day. If there’s something specific you’d like to offer/supply/give for the weekend, please let us know.

  • Gifts: Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all! However, if you wish to bless us with a gift, a contribution toward our future family would be truly appreciated. Here’s some information on how to do this.

  • Alcohol policy: We won’t be serving alcohol - it’s not really our vibe. If you’d like to drink, we welcome you to bring your own. We’ll have a space to keep it cool. If you do choose to drink, please be mindful of how much you consume.

We’re committed to ensuring our loved ones have an easy and smooth gathering here over the weekend. We’re also mindful of availability of spaces and affordability.

Van or Camping at Mangaroa Farms

We have limited spots available for you to park up in a van, or sleep in a tent. Please indicate this in your RSVP form so we can organise effectively.

Local Airbnbs

We’ve collected a list of Airbnb’s around the local area for you to book. Most of these are within 15-20 minutes of Mangaroa Farms - our event location. We ask that you organise these yourselves.
